I swore it would never happen. I mean really, don’t I have enough to do already. Adding spinning to my list would be crazy.

Then Kathy came along. “Hey, you wanna come to spinning with me on Saturday? It’s a great group of ladies and you need to get out of the house.”

Hmm… She’s totally right about needing to get out and I love hanging out with Kathy but it’s spinning. “Spinning group? But I don’t spin.”

Kathy: “You could just knit if you want. It’s at the wine bar and I can pick you up on my way.” See how devious she is. Wine, wool, an afternoon out and I don’t even have to figure out how to get there. She knows me well.
Me: “Great! Thanks for asking.” See that, I even thanked her! She’s good.
It’s possible that this may be a picture of my room today.
And it’s possible that I’m so obsessed that my shoulder is sore and my pants need a shave. Very clearly beginner work but I did the entire braid and I bet you can tell which end I started at.
I may have even been looking at this online and reminding my hubby that my birthday isn’t that far away. Plus I have acquired an ungodly urge to browse Etsy for fiber (good thing I don’t know what to look for yet) and to start reading about different breeds of sheep.
