Favorite Thing Friday: Cake

Mmmm….. Bet you want a bite.

We sure did. Add a little whipped cream, a beautiful sunny day, and couple of friends for a very lovely afternoon.

Butter Cake

3 eggs room temp

2 sticks butter (1 cup) melted and cooled

1 cup sugar

1 cup sifted flour

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9” spring form pan.

Mix eggs and sugar together with an electric mixer until thick and light yellow (4-5 mins).  Slowly fold in flour. When flour is almost incorporated add butter.

Pour mixture into pan and bake for 35-40 mins.

Serve alone or with fruit, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, whatever you like this cake tastes good with it all.
